THE HUNGARIAN ASSOCIATION FOR INNOVATION, HUNGARY The Hungarian Association for Innovation (HAI) established in 1990 as a professional and employer's business federation focuses its activities on the economy stimulating role of innovation. The HAI now comprises 314 members like universities, research institutes, innovative companies, non-profit institutes and six associations representing 459 members respectively, intending to promote the practical utilization of intellectual products.
László Antos graduated as a physicist in 1986, at the Eötvös Lóránd University Budapest, making his diploma piece at the Technical University Vienna. In 1993 he took his Ph.D. in solid state physics. He has been working at the Hungarian Association for Innovation for 20 years, now as managing director. Since 2006 he has been the organizer of the Business Plan Competition of Intel. He supervises the THE and the Meet the Scientist projects popularizing STEM in secondary schools and is responsible for the management prize for students, as well.
