AEGEE-Europe/European Students' Forum

AEGEE-Europe is one of Europe’s biggest interdisciplinary student organisations, striving for a democratic, diverse and borderless Europe. As a non-governmental, politically independent, and non-profit organisation AEGEE is open to students and young people from all faculties and disciplines. Founded in 1985 in Paris, today AEGEE has grown to a Network of 13000 friends, present in 200 cities in 40 countries all over Europe.

Empowering Students since 1985

Through our activities, we empower students and young people in Europe to take an active role in society. We create a space for dialogue and learning opportunities as well as act as their representative towards decision-makers. AEGEE strengthens mutual understanding among young Europeans and brings Europe closer to young people.

With our almost 30 years of experience, our student volunteers gain skills through AEGEE that the educational system doesn't provide them. They learn how to work in an international team in English, develop their project management and self organisation skills, they become more self aware and get to know their strength and weaknesses, and are stimulated to develop creative and innovative solutions to every-day problems.

AEGEE in the IBC Europe 2014

We are happy to participate in the 2014 Intel Business Challenge Europe, because it allows us to connect our members with the professional reality and helps them to test their skills and develop their abilities to take them a step further ahead in their professional lives.
