The purpose of Junior Achievement (JA) is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, understand business and economics. Our programs integrate quality economic education materials with the real life experiences of business volunteers to make education and economics relevant. The overall goal of JA Serbia is to enable the private sector to take an active role in preparing and inspiring the youth of Serbia to become contributing member of society and to educate young people in the field of entrepreneurship, financial literacy and business. Junior Achievement Serbia’s vision is to create a venturous, ready for changes, capable of confronting the future and broad-minded generation, who will take an active part in all aspects of modern life and by doing it, increase its job opportunities. Since its founding in 2005, JA Serbia has served more than 40,000 students who were guided by 500 JAS-trained teachers in over 230 schools across Serbia. Only in the 2012/13 school year, 9,153 students participated in JAS programs across 75 municipalities.
